12/19/25: The contractor is working on installing the box culvert along 119th Street. Please be advised that this work will impact traffic due to temporary, daytime lane closures. This work is expected to be completed the week of January 5 with various stoppages in work due to the holidays.

12/5/25 Update: The contractor will begin installing a box culvert, along 119th Street, during the week of December 15. Please be advised that this work will impact traffic due to the required, temporary, daytime lane closures. This work is expected to take two weeks. 

11/7/25 Update:  The contractor made progress with preparing the roadway for widening and pouring concrete curb and gutter at future driveway entrances this week. They also completed the utility work at the intersections. Next week, the contractor plans to continue pouring concrete curb and gutter and paving asphalt binder for the north side pavement widening.

10/31/25 Update:  This past week, the contractor worked on preparing the roadway for widening on the north side and performed utility work at the intersections. This work will continue next week. 

10/17/25  Update:  The contractor continues to work on roadway excavation work. Next week, they will begin utility work at the 119th Street and Spaulding School Drive and 119th Street and Aero Drive intersections.

10/10/25 Update: Next week, the contractor will continue working on the north side of the road, excavating and preparing new road base.

Project Information: The contractor for the Woodman’s development began work on the 119th Street roadway improvements, east of Route 59. The improvements will include roadway widening, additional travel lanes, stormwater drainage improvements, and a traffic signal at the intersection of Spaulding School Drive. The contractor is currently working on excavation and temporary pavement. The improvements are expected to be completed next summer.
