The Consolidated Election will be held on April 6, 2027. The Village of Plainfield will have three (3) Trustee positions open. Each position is for a four-year term.

The first day to circulate petitions for the Consolidated Election is Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Petition Packets will be posted on the Village website, www.plainfieldil.gov, by 9:00 a.m. on August 25, 2026.

2027 Consolidated Election & Petition Packets

The first day to file petitions is November 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The last day to file is November 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
