John F. Argoudelis, Esq.

John was born and raised on the Argoudelis family farm in Plainfield where he currently resides.  After obtaining both his bachelor’s (BA 1986) and law degree (JD 1989) from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, John returned to the Chicago area to practice law.

John has been active in his community throughout his life including serving in the following political offices:  Plainfield Library Board Trustee, Plainfield Township Supervisor, Will County Board Member and on the Will County Forest Preserve

John has served his community by also leading the effort to relocate the War Monument to Settler’s Park in 2013, providing pro bono legal assistance to Ready Set Ride Therapeutic Horse Farm, serving on the Edward Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Committee, First Community Bank of Plainfield (now Busey Bank) – Founder, Director and Chair of Credit Committee and serving as a board member of the Plainfield Historical Society.

John is the principal in his own law firm located in Plainfield.  John resides in Plainfield and is the father of two college aged children.

John is an avid Cross Country Skier competing in the Birkebeiner, Great Bear Chase and other midwestern races.  His summer activities include cycling and hiking.  He enjoys maintaining his farm, raising chickens, bees and a native prairie.
